New Gallery Showing @ Impressions Gallery in Yorkville

Hi Everyone, just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. Just met with the lovely people at Impressions Gallery at 102 Yorkville Avenue in Toronto a few hours ago and I will be having a show there this summer. I will keep you updated when we finalize a date. For those who have not visited the Impressions Gallery, it is in the heart of artists row in Yorkville and is a very beautiful venue.
I will keep everyone posted on the exact dates and times.

What an incredible honour!!

I just found out that dLife, the television network in the United States has just inlcuded me in their famous people with Diabetes website. I was blown away as the list includes Paul Cezanne, Halle Berry, B.B. King, Mary Tyler Moore, James Cagney, Elizabeth Taylor, Johnny Cash, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis - yes Elvis, Thomas Edison, HG Wells and others. Thank you dLife, this is an incredible honour to be included with these very talented people.

Another year over, more to come...

The flowers are gone for the year, can't wait for them to come back. Buried under all of that snow, all waiting to be painted next year. I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday.

Keep an eye out on the site as many new changes are underway, along with a new book, more paintings and more shows next year.

Tour de France Champion has seen the light.

3 Time Tour de France Champion Greg LeMond, spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association now has one of my paintings hanging on his walls at home. Greg has the 30 x 40 purple iris called "Cycle of Life". Photo's of Greg and the painting are to follow but you can see the painting above. By the way, Greg and his wife Kathy are without a doubt two of the nicest people on the planet.

A new journey

My first blog, what to write. I guess I just felt the need to talk about Diabetes and blindness, to anyone else who lives and copes with these problems on a daily basis. I wish I had someone to give me the freedom to live out my dreams when I was younger. Everyone has an inner artist who needs to be set free no matter what life hands you.
